Beth Buxton is an award winning Film Maker and Fashion Stylist based in London. Buxton made her Directorial debut with Doll Valley and has since gone on to make short fashion/art films and music videos. Her work is stylised, rich with colour, sumptuous surrealism and a darkly comic undertone. Strong narratives and highly conceptual themes are always at the core, teamed with beautiful fashion and Art Direction, Buxton strives to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary. 

Buxton Graduated from Manchester University with a Degree with Honours in 3D Furniture Design & Making, from this Buxton went on to have a successful career as a Fashion Stylist & Creative Director working on editorials, shows, advertising campaigns and music videos. Her experience within the fashion world has helped to form a visually strong and stylised aesthetic as a Director, with her 3D design skills further enhancing the visual impact of the films she creates.

 

Buxton is also the Founder and Editor in Chief of Red Thread Journal - a bi-annual print publication and film platform - where she honed her Creative Direction and production skills. Her diversity can be seen as one of her greatest strengths, in an industry that is continually expanding and crossing artistic boundaries.

As a Stylist Buxton has consulted and styled for designers, musicians and celebrities such as: Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Osman, Corrie Nielsen, Lianne La Havas, Charli XCX, Foxes, KT Tunstall, Emiliana Torrini, Rosie Lowe, Sonia Stein, Charlotte OC, Boxed In, Olivia Colman, Cara Delevingne, David Gandy, Jameela Jamil, Fearne Cotton, Amy Jackson, Henry Holland.
