Beth Buxton is a interdisciplinary Creative Director and Fashion Stylist based in London. She graduated from Manchester University in 2001 with a Bachelor Degree in Furniture Design & Making. Buxton started her career by assisting fashion stylists Sarah Cobb and Karl Plewka for five years respectively, working on editorials, shows and advertising campaigns.
In recent years, as the Founder and Editor in Chief of Red Thread Journal - a bi-annual print publication and film platform - she has honed her creative and production skills. Laterally, Buxton had her directorial debut with short film ‘Doll Valley’. Her diversity can be seen as one of her greatest strengths, in an industry that is continually expanding and crossing artistic boundaries.
Buxton has consulted and styled for designers, musicians and celebrities such as: Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Osman, Corrie Nielsen, Lianne La Havas, Charli XCX, Foxes, KT Tunstall, Emiliana Torrini, Rosie Lowe, Sonia Stein, Charlotte OC, Boxed In, Olivia Colman, David Gandy, Fearne Cotton, Amy Jackson, Henry Holland, Cara Delevingne.
Her work has featured in numerous publications and gallery exhibitions such as: Vogue, Vogue.fr, L’Officiel, Wonderland, S magazine, Nowness, Elle, Glass, King Kong, Revs, The Sunday Times Style, Paper, Schön, Ponytail, Fault, Stella, National Portrait Gallery, Hunger TV, Dazed Digital, Models.com.
